for training in full Sounds-Write courses and options for transfer.

COPYRIGHT: Materials on this course are the copyright of Sounds-Write Ltd. In the manual, only the appendices in Part One, the stories, wordlists and worksheets in Part Two and the optional support materials may be photocopied, and then only for literacy tuition purposes. Training with the materials and methods contained in this course is limited only to those licensed by Sounds-Write Ltd. Although we encourage you to pass on what you have learned informally to other members of staff in your school within the context of your normal teaching and employment schedule, successful completion of this course does not carry training rights. Although Sounds-Write Ltd is supplying the materials for this course, the course provider is an independent contractor licensed by Sounds-Write Ltd to deliver this course and is not an employee of Sounds-Write Ltd.

 

PARTICIPATION: By agreeing to the Copyright Terms and Conditions outlined above you acknowledge that Sound Literacy (ABN 46256738436), as an independent service provider licensed by Sounds-Write Ltd UK, will present the course. The Terms and Conditions outlined below pertain specifically to the 6-week online course.

SPECIFIC TO ON-LINE TRAINING: Please note that when undertaking the online course you are responsible for ensuring you have suitable IT equipment and access to Internet services, can perform the required uploading of 3 x 2-3 minute videos of yourself and manage your time efficiently to meet the weekly course deadlines as outlined in the Course Summary. We urge you to notify us ASAP of any change in your circumstances that might impact your course participation.

Below are the options Sound Literacy offer to accommodate requests for changes of course, cancellations and transfers.

 

By registering and paying for a specific course you agree to take an allocated place in that course and the obligations associated with it including the assessment processes. We understand that circumstances can change between the time of booking and payment and undertaking your actual course. It is for this reason we try to accommodate requests for changes.

 

CANCELLATION/**TRANSFER With more than 14 days notice: If you are unable to commence the course and wish to cancel/transfer to another course (transfer must be done within 3 months) and notify us more than 14 days prior to the commencement date of the course:

• IF CANCELLING, and you are already in receipt of a Sounds-Write manual and materials you must, at your cost, return them immediately. If we have not sent the manuals or, when we receive the course materials, we will REFUND your course fee minus the $100 administration fee. 

• IF **TRANSFERRING, you must nominate the course you wish to participate in. You will be invoiced a transfer fee of $100.

 

CANCELLATION/**TRANSFER With less than 14 days-notice: If you cancel /transfer (transfer must be done within 3 months) less than 14 days prior to the course commencement or within the first 7 days of the online course:

• IF CANCELLING, and you are already in receipt of a Sounds-Write manual and materials you must, at your cost return them immediately. If we have not sent the manuals or, when we receive the course materials, we will REFUND your course fee minus $200 administration fee.

• IF **TRANFERRING, you must nominate the course you wish to participate in. You will be invoiced a transfer fee of $100.

** COURSE TRANSFERS CAN ONLY BE DONE WITHIN 3 MONTHS OF YOUR ORIGINAL COURSE.
